With over 33 years of practice in Cape Town personal injury law, our attorneys and support staff work together to guide clients through RAF claims, medical negligence, PRASA and Metrorail matters, slip and trip claims, police assault matters, and municipal infrastructure claims.
Brian Lowe
Director
Brian Lowe graduated with a BA from the University of Cape Town in 1979 and obtained his LLB through the University of Pietermaritzburg in 1981.
He was admitted as an attorney in the High Court of South Africa and Namibia in 1986. He was admitted as an advocate of the High Court in 1996.

Megan Castle
Partner
Megan Castle obtained her LLB through the University of South Africa in 2016. She was admitted as an attorney of the Western Cape High Court in 2019.
Her areas of expertise include RAF claims, slip and trips, medical negligence, and claims against PRASA.

Reece Schuttler
Candidate Attorney
Reece, our Candidate Attorney, holds an LLB Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Western Cape.
He completed his Practical Legal Training Course through the University of Cape Town and currently specialises in all areas of Personal Injury Law.

Lyndsey Croy
Legal Secretary
Lyndsey is Legal Secretary to Brian Lowe and Megan Castle.
Lyndsey has 16 years of experience as a legal secretary. She has honed her skills in providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring seamless legal operations.
Mariam Samsodien
Legal Accounts and Financial Administration
Mariam joined Lowe & Petersen Attorneys in 2015. She attends to all legal accounting and financial matters.
She is also responsible for all matters dealing with the Legal Practice Council and Legal Practitioners Indemnity Insurance Fund.
Charmaine Bester
Receptionist and Filing Clerk
Charmaine is our receptionist and one of our filing clerks.
She attends to our switchboard, all new queries, and ensures every client feels welcome. She has been with the firm since 1993.
Zoubeidah Fakier
High Court Messenger and Administration
Zoubeidah is our high court messenger and ensures that all our documentation is served and filed.
She is also responsible for assisting with administration. She has been with the firm since 1999.
